Our team at Smarter Home Control designs your installation to be as simple to operate as possible whilst ensuring reliability. Technology however is never perfect and from time to time, things may go wrong; an internet provider update may cause a device to stop functioning, a firmware update may require a new configuration for a smart speaker to operate, or a Virgin Media box may become unresponsive for no apparent reason. Glitches and individual product failures can spoil your smarter home experience. We believe that it is advantageous to have a maintenance plan in place in order to protect your investment and ensure it continues to serve you and your family for the future ahead.
When you are covered by our customised maintenance plans, you’ll have access to our technical support team who are able to remotely access your installation in order to troubleshoot the majority of issues that may arise, minimising the need to visit your home, which means you should be back up and running in the shortest time possible without realising we’ve even been working on your problem. Of course, should the need arise, we aim to despatch one of our highly skilled, experienced and fully insured technicians in the shortest time to your home who will be able to fault-find and repair a fault with the minimum disruption to your home routine.
We appreciate that call-out charges can seem expensive so we have designed a maintenance plan that is customised to your installation size, providing the ideal service level for your needs at a fraction of the cost. The first 12 months of maintenance are absolutely free when you have a system installed by Smarter Home Control, which is then billable per month by direct debit thereafter. As a small token of our appreciation, we will include a Control4 4sight Licence (normally £99+VAT/year) and we will also install any Control4 system updates on your behalf, free of charge.
Even if your system has been fault free over the first 12 months, we recommend that you continue with your maintenance plan which will offer you peace of mind, leaving you to enjoy your smart home, safe in the knowledge that you will be promptly looked after, should the unexpected happen.
